WHY DO WE NEED TO GO TO CHURCH?

A Christian lifestyle can only be lived fully when you live it out with other people. Only in relationships can we learn what it means to be patient, loving, kind, encouraging and heartfelt towards others. Years ago the Hebrew people practiced their devotion as a nation. Today, we as modern day Christians practice our devotions as a called out body of believers in Jesus Christ.

We are to proclaim Jesus as Lord. In Matthew 18:20, Jesus stated: " For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them." Truly, Jesus is always with us individuals, but God wants us to have communion with one another where we meet at His church for His will and His purpose. We become complete when we come to His church.

We sometimes put God last on the agenda when in fact He should be first. I believe that most of you have health or life insurance. You need to be insured by Jesus Christ because His policy is out of this world.

Today, make a decision to come and visit Mountaintop or the church of your choice, but go to church. You may be doing well today, but a storm is coming your way. I know because I thought I could avoid the storms of life with my business background. Little did I know that without Jesus, I was truly lost in the middle of the storm. But, when I met my Savior, He said to the storm, "peace be still." That was enough for me.

Romans 12:4-5 says, "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." Therefore, we would welcome you as a part of the body of Christ, meeting with our friendly people at the New Market Mall.
